Returns and Refunds

We make trousers and essentials in short runs. If a piece does not fit, or you change your mind, send it back.

This page covers two separate things. Your statutory right of withdrawal, which is EU law and which we cannot shorten. And our own 30 day return, which goes further than the law asks of us.

Before you order

Every product page carries flat measurements in centimetres. Waist, rise, thigh, leg opening and inseam. Measure a pair you already wear and compare the numbers rather than working from a size label. Labels vary between makers. Centimetres do not.

If a cut runs small or large, the product page says so.

When your order arrives

Check it. If a piece is damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, write to us straight away. Those cases are handled under the warranty section below, not as a return, and we cover the postage.

Our 30 day return

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to send a piece back for a refund.

For this voluntary return we ask that the piece comes back unworn, with tags attached, in the packaging it arrived in. Try it on as you would in a fitting room. If a piece comes back beyond that condition we may offer a partial refund, or fall back to your statutory rights set out below.

There is no restocking fee. Reduced pieces return on the same terms as everything else.

Exchanges

We do not run exchanges at the moment. The quickest way to get a different size is to send the first piece back and place a new order. The two are handled separately, so you are not waiting on one to start the other.

Your statutory right of withdrawal

Separately from the above, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the goods. Where your order arrives in more than one delivery, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

To exercise the right you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. You can use the withdrawal function on this site, write to us using the contact details on our Impressum, or use the model withdrawal form at the foot of this page. The form is not compulsory.

To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your notice before the 14 days expire.

Within these 14 days you may handle the goods as you would in a shop. If you handle them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct for the loss in value.

How to send something back

1. Tell us first, using the withdrawal function on this site or the contact details on our Impressum.
2. Send the goods within 14 days of telling us.
3. Post them to the address shown on our Impressum.

Use a tracked service. Until the parcel reaches us, your proof of postage is what protects you.

Return postage

You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. We do not supply a prepaid label.

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the payment method you used. There is no charge for this.

We also refund the standard delivery cost from the original order. If you chose a faster delivery than our standard service, we refund the standard rate.

We may withhold the refund until the goods reach us, or until you show proof that you have sent them, whichever comes first.

Once we have sent the refund, your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to post it to your account. That part is outside our hands.

If a piece is faulty or we sent the wrong one

This is not a return and the conditions above do not apply. You have two years of statutory warranty rights from delivery. If a piece is faulty, not as described, or not what you ordered, write to us. We pay the return postage and put it right.
